Making the MGB Water Resistant (As best we could)

Perhaps I'll never have a fully watertight car. But after noticing the footwells getting a little leaky after doing a carwash, and then realizing that the carpets had been absorbing moisture for some time, I decided it was time to embark on a mission of water proofing the car.

What's seemed to help:
  • Adding a bead of silicone to the windscreen seal. There were quite a few gaps in some places.
    • John Twist's video is very helpful.
  • Adding silicone in to patch some holes in the hood frame.
    • where the hood fit into the body-- there were holes in the corner
  • Adding 2x the Moss hood weatherstrip
    • maybe not the most elegant, and not original, but works well
